Who we are
From Santiago and Tierra del Fuego to Prague
We are Gonzalo Cortés, from Santiago, Chile, and Manuel García, from Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. Two friends who share more than friendship: a deep passion for asado, wine, and the culture that surrounds that table.
It all started in 2024, in the most natural way possible: getting together with friends to share what for us was always part of daily life. A lit grill, premium cuts of meat, quality wines, and plenty of time to enjoy. When our Czech and European friends experienced a private asado in Prague for the first time — the meat, the ritual of the fire, the Argentine wines in Czech Republic that you simply can't find locally — the reaction was unanimous: why doesn't this exist here?
That question was the spark. In 2025 we began turning the idea into a real project: sourcing suppliers, designing menus, selecting exclusive wines. And in 2026, with our company officially registered, Patagonia Andina was born — a name that connects our two countries, evoking the vast and beautiful landscape shared by Patagonia and the Andes mountain range.

Today we offer asado at home in Prague and across the Czech Republic, with complete menus for 4, 6, and 8 people. Our Argentine catering in Prague is available for private and corporate events, from intimate celebrations to large gatherings. We complete the experience with wine tastings and the sale of Argentine wines in Czech Republic — exclusive selections of Malbec, Carmenère, and Torrontés you won't find on the local market.
