Cuvée Barrancas Malbec/Cabernet Sauvignon
Pascual Toso
ripe plums, raspberry, soft and persistent tannins, subtle oak toasting, spices, chocolate, long and concentrated finish
Alcohol: 13,5%

Valle de la Puerta
Torrontés from the estate's own Vichigasta vineyard in the Famatina Valley, La Rioja, at about 1,000 m (3,280 ft) in the high-desert foothills of the Andes. Big swings between day and night temperatures give even, full ripeness and a fruit-driven wine. Jasmine and honeysuckle on the nose; a creamy mid-palate of passion fruit and lychee, and a bright, citrusy finish.
Winery
Valle de Famatina, La Rioja
Winery founded in 1994 by agricultural engineer Julián Clusellas in the Famatina Valley, La Rioja, between the Sierra de Famatina and the Sierra del Velasco. Its vineyards sit at roughly 1,000–1,500 m in the arid foothills of the Andes, and the estate also produces extra virgin olive oil. Ichanka means "water of the condor" in the Diaguita dialect.
