Winery

Pioneer winery of Argentine Patagonia, founded in 1998 by the Schroeder family in San Patricio del Chañar, Neuquén. Among the first to demonstrate the winemaking potential of Patagonia as a high-altitude region. The name Saurus is a tribute to dinosaur fossils discovered in the region during the establishment of the vineyards. Its extreme terroir—very cold nights, strong daytime temperature amplitude, and well-drained sandy soils—defines the fresh, intensely fruity-profiled wines that characterize it.
